Before you start
- Choose diesel from tank or gas per project.
- Reserve space under seat or tech locker.
- Plan exhaust and air intake without obstructions.
- Coordinate with gas and electrical guides.
Types and power
kW rating for insulated living volume. Diesel from auxiliary take-off or gas heater where bottle install exists. Alexis sizes without overheating L1 or underpowering tall H3. Altitude affects some models—we discuss mountain use. We do not sell loose heaters without mount kit and combustion check.
Mechanical install
Anti-vibration mount, exhaust with silencer and hangers, clean external air intake. Minimum clearances to plastics and fuel per manual. Floor and panel penetrations with thermal protection. Technical review pending—each job validated in workshop.
Control and electrics
Digital or analogue panel, 12 V draw on start and standby—added to panel. Dedicated fuse and sized cable. Smoke and CO check before handover. Never run in closed garage—written instructions included.
Homologación and service
Tank or exhaust changes may need reform. We consult homologación case by case. Annual service: filter, combustion, exhaust check. Girona winter humidity makes good heating the difference between summer-only and four-season builds.
