In short
The camper kitchen packs burner (gas or limited induction), sink, water, and storage in little space. We design with ventilation and rules—not loose camping gas.
Before you start
- Pick gas, electric, or mix per systems.
- Practicable ventilation near flame.
- Sink sized for pans you actually use.
- Coordinate with gas, water, and fridge guides.
Compact layout
One or two burners, offset sink, prep space, pot drawer. Alexis places kitchen near door or window for steam. Counter height to user. We do not copy a flat kitchen into L1H1. Kitchen module is the layout anchor—closed with real sink and hob sizes.
Gas and induction
Van gas follows instalacion-gas guide: bottle, regulator, detector. Camping cartridge hob is not full-time living. Induction draws heavy W = V × A—only with strong inverter or hook-up. Many Girona clients pick gas for autonomy. We decide together after seeing the electrical panel.
Water and storage
12 V or manual tap per pump. Fresh tank sized in agua-fontaneria guide. Deep or tall spice storage by bay width. Split waste access. Steel or light composite sink—no heavy glass jumping in bends.
Workshop fitting
Kitchen goes in after plumbing and gas tested, before final trims. Flame, gas leak, and water flow checked at handover. Routine briefing: ventilate, gas off when driving, clean trap. Belcampers does not leave a 'nearly done' kitchen untested.
Common mistakes
- Cooking on gas with every window shut.
- Tiny sink that won't fit your usual pan.
- Induction hob without battery and inverter review.
